Recruiter.lk is an online matching platform between employers and job seekers. Companies list jobs on www.recruiter.lk and have access to all employee data available on the site.
The terms and conditions are those shown on and from the 25th January 2015. We reserve the right to update our terms and conditions at any time and you should check for any updates before each time you access and use Recruiter.lk.
Recruiter.lk is a network for job seekers and businesses to find and provide temporary and permanent employment. Recruiter.lk cannot guarantee that if you are a business looking for job seekers that any suitable job seekers will be available. Likewise, if you are a job seeker looking for employment, Recruiter.lk does not guarantee that you will find any suitable employment positions.
Fees and Services
Accessing and signing up to Recruiter.lk is free for both job seekers and employers. Recruiter.lk reserves the right to charge for services such as purchasing access to reveal a candidate’s personal contact details and full profile information. Recruiter.lk will clearly provide terms to review and accept at the time of posting content.
Recruiter.lk reserves the right to change fees at any time. Any changes will be communicated clearly to all users via the Recruiter.lk website. Fees may also be temporarily changed in accordance with promotional events and offers, including new services. Any such changes are effective from the time Recruiter.lk announce the promotional event or new service.
Fees paid to Recruiter.lk are non-refundable. As the user, you are responsible for paying fees when due. In the event of fees becoming overdue, Recruiter.lk reserves the right to issue reminders and restrict or refuse usage of Recruiter.lk. Recruiter.lk also reserves the right to recover any outstanding fees when due.

By accepting these terms and conditions you agree that you will not breach any rules made by Recruiter.lk in the use of Recruiter.lk nor breach any law, infringe on the rights of others, or infringe any rights that Recruiter.lk have in respect of intellectual property including any trademarks and copyrighted material.
It is against Recruiter.lk terms of service to post any abusive, defamatory, obscene, indecent or threatening material or to post material that is false, spam, containing viruses or anything that is misleading or capable of causing harm to Recruiter.lk and its users.
All content must be original unless you have express consent from the owner.
No content is to be collected from Recruiter.lk nor may you use any automated means to access Recruiter.lk to collect content for any purpose.
It is against terms of service copy, distribute or modify content from Recruiter.lk for any purpose.
You may not do or attempt to do anything to discover any source code contained in Recruiter.lk (including but not limited to reproducing, copying, selling or using for any purposes any aspect of Recruiter.lk).
By accepting these terms of service you agree to not hold Recruiter.lk responsible for the actions or users and any user-created content.
Your responsibilities as a user
By accepting these terms of service you are acknowledging that you are responsible for any content that you post onto Recruiter.lk and any consequences that come as a result. Recruiter.lk reserve the right to delete any content that is inappropriate.
In the event of any breach of the terms of service, Recruiter.lk may issue a warning to you, restrict your usage of Recruiter.lk or totally refuse access to Recruiter.lk and any related services.
Recruiter.lk does not accept responsibility or liability for monitoring Recruiter.lk or for un authorised or unlawful content on Recruiter.lk or the use of Recruiter.lk by users.
By uploading any media to the Recruiter.lk website, you certify that you own all the necessary rights to the content or that you are authorized to publicise the content by the owner.
Recruiter.lk features content from both Recruiter.lk and users of the Recruiter.lk website.
Recruiter.lk is protected by copyright laws, conventions and agreements. When you give Recruiter.lk content, you are granting Recruiter.lk a non-exclusive right to use the content including the copyright and other rights to that content. You also represent that you have the right to do so.
Recruiter.lk users must be 16 years of age or older and by using Recruiter.lk you are agreeing to that you are 16 years or older.
Content on Recruiter.lk may only be posted in English.
Recruiter.lk does not permit users to post jobs for positions overseas.
Any job post must not include any of the following:
- Links to any other web site.
- Fraudulent or misleading information.
- Inappropriate language, photos or images.
- Any discriminatory content.
- Personal contact information.
Recruiter.lk reserves the right to remove any job posting deemed as inappropriate in accordance with, but not limited to the terms laid out above.
In most cases, Recruiter.lk will notify you via an email if a job posting has been removed.
Recruiter.lk does not accept responsibility for reviewing user profiles or job postings and are not involved in the actual communication and transaction between users. Most of the content on Recruiter.lk is user created and as a result Recruiter.lk does not guarantee the accuracy in any of such content.
Recruiter.lk does not accept liability of any description for the posting of any illegal, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or indecent information of any kind.
Recruiter.lk also does not accept responsibility for the posting of any material construed to be criminal or that breaches any sri laws.
Recruiter.lk cannot guarantee continuous, error-free or secure access to our services or that any defects in the service will be corrected. While Recruiter.lk will use reasonable efforts to maintain an uninterrupted service, Recruiter.lk cannot guarantee this and Recruiter.lk does not give any promises or warranties (whether express or implied) about the availability of our services.
Recruiter.lk expressly disclaim all warranties, representations and conditions, express or implied and those arising by statute. Both the job seeker and the job provider hereby opt out of any Conduct Regulations by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. Conduct Regulations are taken to mean any applicable legislation, including without limitation, the Employment Agencies Act 1973, the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2007 and any subsequent amendments. Recruiter.lk are not liable for any loss, whether of money (including profit), goodwill, or reputation, or any special, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of your use of Recruiter.lk, even if you advise Recruiter.lk or Recruiter.lk could reasonably foresee the possibility of any such damage occurring. Recruiter.lk is not responsible for any inaccurate, misleading or unlawful information and hereby does not warrant the reliability, quality, or the completeness of the information being provided by either job seeker or the job provider.
Despite this disclaimer, if Recruiter.lk are found to be liable, our liability to you or any third party on any basis is limited to the greater of the total fees you have paid to Recruiter.lk in the 6 months prior to the action giving rise to liability, and GBP£100.
Resolution of disputes
If a dispute arises between you and Recruiter.lk, Recruiter.lk will consider reasonable requests to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation or arbitration, as alternatives to litigation. You should in all cases contact Recruiter.lk first to endeavor to resolve any dispute.
The Terms and Conditions and any other policies posted on the Recruiter.lk website by Recruiter.lk constitute the complete agreement between Recruiter.lk and you. These Terms and Conditions take precedence over any previous agreements or arrangements.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this agreement shall be governed and construed in all respects by the laws of England and Wales.
The failure to enforce any particular provision, does not waive our rights to subsequently enforce that provision. If any terms and conditions are found to be non binding on either you or Recruiter.lk, then the remaining terms and conditions will survive.
Any breaches of the terms and conditions must be reported to Recruiter.lk.
Except for notices relating to illegal or infringing content, your notices to Recruiter.lk must be sent by e-mail to:
Recruiter.lk will send notices to you via the email address you provide, or by registered mail. Notices sent by registered mail will be deemed received five days following the date of mailing.
The team at Recruiter.lk is more than happy to assist you with your queries; however we ask you to please bear with us for 24 hours before we can respond – this is due to the volumes of mail that we receive during the course of our business.
