Join Our Team as a Junior Solution Consultant / Pre-Sales Engineer – Acronym Limited (Remote Work from Home Opportunity!)

We are inviting applications from candidates with experience in delivering ICT and Telecommunications solutions, as well as those who are eager to join a growing New Zealand company as a Junior Solution Consultant. This role provides the opportunity to gain valuable exposure to global Telco market and ICT technologies, particularly in the areas of unified communications, networking, Business Internet and connectivity and IOT products and services.

Interns with an IT background or up to one year of relevant experience will be considered for this role.

What your day will be like:

  • Consulting with business sales and service delivery teams and customers alike to understand customer ICT requirements, design suitable and functional ICT solutions, prepare professional proposals and present to the customer with a view to complete the sale.
  • Conducting professional meetings tailored to suitable levels of delivery for IT managers, Finance managers and/or technical and non-technical staff, in a manner that is credible and instils confidence to a degree of promoting yourself to becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Driving and owning end-to-end sales journey with customers/vendors, including presentations, technical discussions, proof of concepts, product and service configurations and technical demonstrations around the Voice and Collaboration, managed network, Business internet and IOT services via video conference or over the phone where travel is not justified.
  • Supporting the sales team in identifying and pursuing new ICT opportunities and join customer meetings via MS Teams to deliver product demos and showcase the value proposition of Acronym’s products.
  • Contributing to RFP responses , including solution design and cost estimates
  • Building and maintaining relationships with sales teams, customers, vendors and other key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients
  • Engaging with stakeholders as required, utilising tool and system processes to achieve the best delivery outcomes.
  • Putting forward suggestions on improvements to ways of working to drive efficiency and improvement of customer experience.

What you will bring:

  • Fluent in English to conduct and lead customer meetings and product demos
  • Passionate in selling Unified communication systems (Cloud telephony) , Networking, Business Internet & IoT services in virtual engagements.
  • A growth mindset and desire to deepen your knowledge of ICT solutions.
  • An ability to tailor your approach to connect and share complex ideas simply, with a wide variety of customers.
  • A good understanding of sales journey, including pipeline management with the ability to deliver overlapping projects simultaneously end to end.
  • Flexibility and availability to work remotely during New Zealand business hours. (Successful candidate may need to start as early as 4AM/5AM Sri Lanka time to align with New Zealand business hours.)
