VACANCY FOR A FIRE DESIGN AND ESTIMATION ENGINEER

PERSONAL PROFILE

? BSc. in Mechanical Engineering OR NDT (or equivalent)

? Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the design and estimation of fire detection and protection

systems

? Proficiency in utilizing CAD software and other PC software packages typically

associated with engineering designs

? Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (CIDA, NFPA, BS standards)

? Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively

? Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills

? Demonstrate creativity and innovation in developing fire protection system designs and

solutions

JOB SCOPE

Design and develop fire protection systems and components in compliance with project/tender

specifications and industry standards

Perform calculations in hydraulics and fire system design optimization

Prepare technical drawings, specifications, estimates, and other documentation, including BOQs, for fire protection system designs

Negotiate with Suppliers and Contractors to obtain competitive pricing

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of fire protection systems

Participate in Pre-Bid and project meetings, providing technical expertise and support as required
